A young Stoke-on-Trent mum was assaulted as she walked along a road with her baby.
The 21-year-old was pushing the pram along Liverpool Road from Stoke towards Hartshill when a man crossed over the road to approach her.
He asked the victim for money and then assaulted her, causing a wrist injury.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
The offender was white, aged mid 40s, 5ft 10ins to 5ft 11ins, large build and short brown hair.
He wore a thick black three-quarter length coat, black trousers and used a light brown wooden walking stick.
